A man died Tuesday after a single vehicle crash with an entrapment in the 1800 block of Mt. Pleasant Road. At 4:45 p.m., Chesapeake Police found the 61-year-old man behind the wheel and deceased. Police believe that he suffered some kind of medical event that caused the crash.

A 34-year-old man York County was shot dead on Prince William Road Friday night, according to Newport News Police. Dispatch said the call came in just before 8:30 p.m. Police later identified him as Corey David Hunter.
One man suffered critical injuries and a Henrico County Police officer was hurt following a disturbance at Dunkin’ Donuts. Police were initially called to Dunkin’ Donuts, along the 7300 block of Staples Mill Road in Henrico County, after someone reported a disorderly man at the business.
Chesterfield: A juvenile was killed and an off-duty Richmond Police Officer was injured after an exchange of gun fire early Monday morning. Chesterfield police say two groups met to buy and sell an electronic gaming system at the Chestertowne Shopping Center on Beulah Road at about 12:30 a.m.
Richmond: Police have identified a man who was killed after being ejected from his vehicle in the city’s Southside Saturday evening. The accident occurred just before 11:15 p.m. when the driver of a 2004 GMC Yukon traveling east in the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard lost control of the vehicle, ran off the right side of the road into a drainage ditch and struck a culvert.
Caroline County: A 35-year-old elementary school teacher was killed in a fiery crash Saturday afternoon on I-95 in Caroline County, according to Crime Insider sources. Sgt. Keeli L. Hill with Virginia State Police said troopers were called to the single-vehicle crash on I-95 north at mile marker 111.3 just before 1 p.m.

A home was destroyed by fire in Colonial Heights late Wednesday night. By the time fire crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. It took several engines to get everything under control. The home is a total loss, but the cause is unknown.
