At least 13 drivers woke up to shattered windows on Friday morning. Police say the cars targeted were inside a garage on Atlantis Street in Herndon.
A person was shot Sunday at the Navy Federal Credit Union ATM on 1140 N. Military Highway around 11:30 a.m. Police say that the victim was shot at the ATM after being approached by the robber and refusing to give him money.
State police are investigating a possible shooting on Interstate 264 Westbound at the Newtown Road exit in Virginia Beach. It happened around 2:30 Monday morning. The WAVY Jam Cams showed several police cars on the outside lanes of 264, off on the shoulder. We are working to find out who was shot, how bad the injuries are and the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Deputies with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man that they believe used stolen credit card information to purchase multiple cartons of cigarettes. The incident happened at the Wawa convenience store in the 5800 block of Route 17 in York County on January 5, according to officials.

Police have made an arrest in connection with two robberies that happened in December. Carver D. Hyman, 72, has been arrested on charges of robbery and prohibition of wearing a mask in certain places related to a December 19 robbery and attempted robbery, prohibition of wearing a mask in certain places, and use of a firearm while in commission of a felony related to the December 29 attempted robbery.
A Norfolk man has died following a crash that happened on I-64 inside the downtown tunnel. Virginia State Police were called to the incident Friday around 1 a.m. Officials say the driver of a 2006 Hyundai SUV ran out of gas and came to a stop in the right traffic lane of the downtown tunnel.

A Henrico man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday in the shooting death of his fiancée inside her home in November 2016. William Davis Tiller pleaded no contest to second-degree murder in the death of Tammy Jo Clifton. He also pleaded no contest for a use of a firearm charge.

Police say an 18-year-old Lynchburg man has died after an overnight shooting. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of Taylor St. in Lynchburg just before midnight. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot multiple times. The man was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he later died. Police have not released his identity yet.
A man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend and her father in front of their children is believed to have fled to Georgia. Amos Jacob Arroyo, 32, has been on the run since July 2017, U.S. marshals said Thursday morning.

A person killed in a single-vehicle wreck in north Charlotte Tuesday morning has been identified by police as 44-year-old Kutana Vanessa Nesbitt. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, the deadly crash occurred in the 1200 block Atando Avenue near Timeplanner Drive just after 12:30 a.m. Once on scene, officers said they found a 1996 Buick that was off of the roadway.
One man has died after a Friday shooting in Roanoke. Michael Cardona Santamarina, 22, from Roanoke died Tuesday morning at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Two people were killed and one person was injured in a shooting Monday evening near Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach police said. Police spokesman Patrick Kane said officers were notified at 5:04 p.m. about gunshots in the 1400 block of Gate Tree Court. Upon arrival, officers found two people dead. A 9-year-old Virginia girl has died after she was hit by a pickup truck while sledding in Thursday's winter storm. Chesterfield County Police said the girl, whose name has not been released, was sledding down a driveway when she slid into the path of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
