Portsmouth police officers responded Tuesday night to the Shell gas station on the 3500 block of High Street after a man was found dead. Police spokeswoman Misty Holley said the death was suspicious, but there were no signs of foul play. The call reporting the death came in at 5 p.m.
Norfolk police are investigating after a man was stabbed Tuesday night in the 1320 block of Lead St. Dispatchers say the call for the stabbing came in at 9:50 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Police have made an arrest in connection with two robberies that happened in December. Carver D. Hyman, 72, has been arrested on charges of robbery and prohibition of wearing a mask in certain places related to a December 19 robbery and attempted robbery, prohibition of wearing a mask in certain places, and use of a firearm while in commission of a felony related to the December 29 attempted robbery.
A Norfolk man has died following a crash that happened on I-64 inside the downtown tunnel. Virginia State Police were called to the incident Friday around 1 a.m. Officials say the driver of a 2006 Hyundai SUV ran out of gas and came to a stop in the right traffic lane of the downtown tunnel.
