The Hampton Police Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects involved in a shooting that happened on February 24. Around 2:18 p.m. on the day of the incident, dispatchers received a call in reference to a shooting in the 2000 block of Cunningham Drive. While officers were at the scene investigating, dispatchers received a call from the Sentara Careplex in reference to a walk-in gunshot victim. The victim, a 17-year-old Williamsburg boy, was treated for non-life threatening injuries
The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that the U.S. Marshals-led Fugitive Task Force and Chesapeake Police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to a double homicide.
A car crashed into a utility police overnight in Fairfax County, damaging the pole and bringing down wires, according to authorities. Fairfax County Police say the car crashed into the pole at Georgetown Pike at Olde Georgetown Court Sunday night. The driver had minor injuries but the road was closed down for hours to replace the pole, police say.
A bicyclist is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Richmond’s Fan neighborhood Saturday night. Richmond police said the wreck happened around 10:15 p.m. on Rowland and Main streets. That is where the bike was traveling south on Rowland when it collided with a vehicle traveling west on Main Street.
A 12-year-old died Saturday night after the vehicle he was in struck another vehicle. Police said the incident happened around 6:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Old Denbigh Boulevard.
Police in Virginia Beach responded to an auto-pedestrian accident at the Oceanfront Saturday night that involved two people. According to VBPD, the accident happened in the 3400 block of Pacific Avenue, as a man and a woman were attempting to cross the street.
A child and a woman were injured Thursday evening after police say they were hit by a car. Norfolk police say the incident happened on May Avenue, just off Tidewater Drive. Paramedics took both of them to area hospitals, where they are expected to be OK.

A man and woman, found in a parked car in a Burtonsville parking lot, were shot and killed, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled, a Montgomery County police statement said. Police said the woman was identified as Ashley Susan Dickinson, 34, of Mallory Terrace in Alexandria, Virginia, and the man was identified as Joshua Michael Frazier, 29, of the 16600 block of Space More Circle in Woodbridge, Virginia.

A car caught fire on a Tidewater Drive overpass Wednesday morning. Dispatch tells a call about the fire was received just before 8 a.m. at the Roland Park overpass. It is unknown if there were any injuries.
The Newport News Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in the 800 block of Lassiter Drive Tuesday. Police said 23-year-old Devin Bowles was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police need help locating a murder suspect. 19-year-old Jayln Devon Harris was the victim of a fatal shooting that happened on February 13 in the 700 block of 16th Street. Around the time of the shooting, a car had crashed into a utility pole, knocking the power out for two homes. Dominion Energy also responded to the scene after the incident.

A teenager has been charged with reckless driving after a crash involving a Louisa County school bus Monday afternoon. Virginia State Police said troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 3400 Yanceyville Road at approximately 4:04 p.m.
A Virginia man and woman who were shot and found dead inside a running car have been identified by police. 34-year-old Ashley Dickinson of Alexandria, Virginia and 29-year-old Joshua Frazier of Woodbridge, Virginia were murdered, and their bodies were found in a running car Thursday, police say.

Police are investigating two shootings reported a minute apart on Richmond's Northside that sent two men to the hospital Sunday evening. The first shooting was reported at 8:20 p.m. around 4th and Dill avenues. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said that victim was transported to VCU Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening. A second shooting was reported at 8:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of St. John Street in Gilpin Court.
30-year-old Shororia Rechelle Drew has been arrested after she allegedly threw hot grease on another woman, according to police in Newport News. Police responded to a call in the 3000 block of Madison Avenue, and were met by a 20-year-old woman who said that while in an altercation with Drew, had hot grease thrown on her.

Police are investigating after a man was injured in an attempted robbery. It happened Thursday around 1:13 a.m. in the 800 block of N. Military Highway, according to police. When officers arrived, they found the injured victim. He was taken to the hospital by medics and is expected to be okay.
A crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 664 at the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel has traffic stopped. Traffic cameras from the Virginia Department of Transportation showed a tractor-trailer jackknifed on the bridge — with at least one car pinned up against the wall.
The Danville Police Department arrested an 18-year-old male after reports of shots fired near Johnson Elementary School. Police say the shots were not directed at the school or students of the school. No injuries have been reported.
