A mobile home caught fire in Chesapeake on Tuesday. Crews arrived on the scene in the 2500 block of Graham Street at 4:11 p.m. Firefighters found smoke coming from under the single-wide home.
Two drivers were injured after a school bus carrying five children was involved in a two-vehicle crash in King George, Virginia, police said. Around 3 p.m., the Virginia State Police responded to the crash in the 8000 block of James Madison Parkway in King George County.

Police are searching for a double shooting suspect in Ashland. Ashland police officers were called to the Misty Pines Townhomes and Apartments around 10 p.m. Monday and found a man and a woman who had been shot.
One man is dead and another man was taken to the hospital after a house fire in Fairfax. The fire was reported around Monday morning in the 4100 block of Mount Echo Lane. When fire crews arrived, smoke was seen coming for the second floor of the home.

Police have not yet released the name of the driver killed Sunday night in Richmond. The driver died after crashing into a power pole along the 2500 block of Magnolia Street, near the ramp from Mechanicsville Turnpike to Interstate 64, in east Richmond. The accident happened before 11 p.m.

Norfolk firefighters responded to an apartment fire at the 1400 block of Bayville Street. Firefighters arrived on scene at 3:25 a.m. and found heavy smoke coming from a 2 story apartment complex, according to Norfolk fire officials.
A 36-year-old Springfield man is dead after crashing into a tree off of the 8400 block of Alban Road. The driver, Frege Adous, was traveling southbound in his 2014 Honda CR-V on Alban Road when he crossed over the double yellow line and left the road, before hitting the tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Newport News Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a rape that happened in the Oyster Point area of the city in early October. Newport News Communications received the call on October 6 at approximately 5:26 a.m. from an woman who told police a stranger sexually assaulted her. The suspect was armed with a black and silver handgun and also took items from the victim’s home. The suspect then ran out of a home in an unknown direction after the sexual assault and robbery.

A teen has been arrested after police say he stole a car and led Henrico police officers on a chase that came to an end in Richmond's Church Hill Thursday evening. The short chase kicked off on Nine Mile Road in Henrico’s East End after police saw a car driving recklessly.

Police are searching for a shooting suspect in Newport News Thursday night. Officials say the shooting occurred at the 13300 block of De Wald Circle around 8:20 p.m. Once on the scene, police found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. He is expected to be okay, and was transported to a local hospital.

Newport News Police looking to identify man accused of touching himself in front of 2 women
A man is fighting for his life Thursday morning after he was shot on Richmond’s Southside. Police say they responded to the 400 block of Westover Hills Blvd around 2:45 a.m. Officers found the victim with multiple gun shot wounds. Medics transported him to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
A dashboard video released Wednesday shows national park police in Virginia firing their weapons up to nine times at a car they had stopped after a four-minute, stop-and-go chase, killing an apparently unarmed motorist. Lawyers for the family of the dead motorist, 25-year-old Bijan Ghaisar, said the video provides clear evidence police overreacted.
