NFR crews have fire control on Simons Drive. 6 adults and 4 children are displaced from one residence. NFR is assisting with contacting Red Cross for displaced residents. Currently, there are no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation

Police say two people were shot near the boardwalk at the Oceanfront in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue, police said
"500 block of Randolph Road Shooting/Homicide Investigation" The first victim was located outside of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was transported by medics to a local hospital for further treatment. His condition is unknown at this time. The second victim was located inside a vehicle and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
